Deployment, Installation, and Configuration
The Hiksemi Rotary USB requires zero complex setup, but maximizing its utility across enterprise environments involves a few simple deployment steps:
1. Physical Deployment

Rotate the protective metal cover to expose the male USB-A connector.

Insert the drive into an available USB 2.0 or USB 3.0/3.2 port on your device.

Note: For maximum speed on USB 3.2 variants, ensure connection to a blue-colored USB port on your PC or laptop.
2. Formatting & File System Configuration
Out of the box, the drives are formatted for universal compatibility. However, you can optimize them based on your use case:

FAT32 (Default for smaller capacities): Maximum compatibility with older TVs, car stereos, and older operating systems. Limit of 4GB per individual file.

exFAT (Recommended for 64GB+): Ideal for modern Windows and macOS systems. Supports files larger than 4GB.

NTFS: Best if used strictly on Windows environments for advanced file permissions and encryption.
