Positioning: Given its size and power, we recommend utilizing reinforced steel speaker stands for elevated dispersion in larger venues, or the integrated heavy-duty casters for rapid floor-level setup.
Dante Networking: For the Dante-ready variants, ensure high-quality Cat6 cabling is used for network distribution. SKYRS technicians will handle the primary network configuration to prevent latency in multi-monitor setups.
Electrical Infrastructure: Due to its 300W power rating, the KD-3 requires a stable power circuit. We advise using a power conditioner to mitigate spikes and provide a consistent ground reference, essential for eliminating noise in high-gain synth setups.
Acoustic Integration: If deploying in a permanent installation, use the unit’s rear-panel mounting points to secure it to wall-brackets, ensuring the reflex ports remain at least 15cm from any surface.
Configuration and Optimization

Input Routing: Configure the 5-channel mixer to prioritize your main keyboard workstation while assigning secondary channels to click tracks or external hardware modules.

Direct Out Configuration: Choose between “Pre-EQ” or “Post-EQ” signal routing for the XLR Direct Out. This ensures your stage sound is independent of the mix sent to the house system.
