Installation Steps
AC Connection: Connect the AC power cable to the injector and plug it into a standard 220V power outlet.
Data Linkage: Use a standard Ethernet cable to connect your non-PoE network switch or router to the “Data In” port on the injector.
Device Connectivity: Connect a Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable from the “PoE Out” (Power+Data) port of the injector to the Network/Internet port on the back of the Fanvil phone or intercom.
Signal Check: The Fanvil device will automatically begin its boot sequence. A solid LED light on the injector indicates successful power negotiation.
Intelligent Power Negotiation
Plug-and-Play: No manual software configuration is required on the Fanvil device or the injector.
Auto-Sensing: The injector automatically detects the Power Class of the Fanvil device (e.g., Class 2 for H-series or Class 4 for V-series) to prevent over-voltage.
VLAN Transparency: The injector does not interfere with LLDP-MED or Manual VLAN tagging, allowing Fanvil devices to receive their voice VLAN assignments seamlessly through the data path.
