Technical Specifications

  • Power Source: Supplied directly via the host remote microphone. No external local mains connection required.

  • Key Functionality: Freely assignable zone selection, group paging, macro-triggering, or emergency activation.

  • Labeling: Clear slide-in template pockets for language-agnostic labeling or custom zone iconography.

  • Certifications: EN 54-16 compliant (when integrated with matching voice alarm base systems).

Deployment and Installation

SKYRS maintains an in-house engineering squad for turnkey physical staging and deployment across corporate and industrial premises in Pakistan.

Physical Linkage

The extension unit is physically structurally attached to the host microphone platform using the included metal joint brackets (Linkage Bracket A and B). Units must sit perfectly level on flat control room desks. Optional wall-mounting setups can be arranged using dedicated hardware (such as the WB-RM200 bracket).

Interconnection

Electrical connectivity is achieved via a short factory-supplied multi-pin flat data ribbon cable. The cable patches directly from the extension-out port of the host microphone into the extension-in header of the RM-210. Daisy-chain cascading follows a sequential configuration from module to module.

System Configuration

Complete software logic assignment and network pairing are managed seamlessly by SKYRS system engineers.

  • ID Addressing: For systems requiring hardware addressing, internal DIP switches or sequence tracking dictate the extension module ID relative to the host station.

  • Software Mapping: Utilizing the host system’s configuration utility tool, each of the 10 physical buttons is bound to a dedicated zone, zone group, or functional logic output.

  • LED Status Behavior: Software parameters are configured to control indicator responses, such as assigning solid colors for active paging, flashing profiles for line faults, or alternating states for system-busy feedback.
