PoE Injector & Access Point Power Adapters Price in Pakistan | Skyrs

This data sheet provides a comprehensive overview of the TP-Link Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Power Adaptor solutions optimized for SKYRS deployments in Pakistan. These adaptors allow network administrators to power high-performance Access Points (APs) and other network devices using a single Ethernet cable, overcoming the limitations of traditional power outlets.

Deployment and Installation Guide

Deployment through SKYRS ensures that your hardware is integrated using industry best practices for the Pakistani climate and power conditions.

Step 1: Connection Setup

Connect the TP-Link Injector to a grounded AC power outlet. For outdoor deployments, ensure the use of surge protectors to guard against voltage spikes common in local grids.

Step 2: Data Link

Plug an Ethernet cable from your non-PoE switch or router into the “LAN” port of the injector. This carries the data signal only.

Step 3: Power + Data Delivery

Connect a high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 cable (up to 100 meters) from the “PoE” port to your remote Access Point. The injector will now transmit both power and data through this single cable.

Step 4: Mounting

Utilize the integrated wall-mount brackets to secure the adaptor. For outdoor CPEs, SKYRS recommends installing the adaptor with the ports facing upward or inside a weatherproof enclosure to maintain cable integrity.

Configuration and Management

TP-Link PoE adaptors are designed for Zero-Configuration (Plug-and-Play), making them ideal for rapid deployment.

  • Auto-Sensing Technology: Standard models (150S/160S/170S) automatically detect the required power of the connected Access Point. If a non-PoE device is accidentally connected, the adaptor will not send power, preventing hardware damage.

  • Compatibility: Passive variants (e.g., TL-POE2412G) provide a constant voltage. SKYRS technicians verify compatibility with specific Omada and Pharos series hardware before deployment to ensure matching voltage requirements.

  • LED Status: A steady green “PWR” LED indicates the unit is receiving power and is ready for data transmission.
